Bobbie was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to the Soldotna Family Homestead in 1959, where Peaceful Acres Cabins and Jackson Gardens Alaska are now located. Harold was born in Arizona and made Alaska his home in 1961. We are excited to share our piece of Alaskan paradise with you!

Our unique cabin property is nestled on a 10-acre organic U-Pick garden located 7 miles south of Soldotna, offering a chance to visit a true farm-to-table experience with fresh berries, vegetables, and flowers. We started selling our garden products on Jackson Gardens Alaska to the public in 1979 and expanded to vegetables in 2019. In 2023 we decided to remodel our cabins and in 2024 we began to offer them to the public as a way of relaxing and enjoying the peaceful nature of our land.

We feel incredibly blessed and love to give back to our community each September by hosting a FREE fall carnival with hay rides. This family-friendly event is completely free and features fun games, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. It's a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy a memorable day. The carnival is usually the 3rd Saturday of September from noon until 5 PM. We look forward to celebrating with you!
